THE METROBILLY NEGRONI

I’m heading to the river for a few days, and this simple but incredibly delicious cocktail will be the drink of choice every evening. Classic in nature, my METROBILLY NEGRONI includes an absinthe wash that elevates the experience in myriad ways. Enjoy - sip sip!

THE METROBILLY NEGRONI

SERVES :1 | PREP TIME: 3 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

1/4 ounce LUCID absinthe or Pernod

1 ounce CALAMITY GIN

1 ounce Campari

1 ounce sweet vermouth

1 orange twist

TECHNIQUE

Rinse an old fashioned or rocks glass with the absinthe. Then add ice to the glass and combine Calamity gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth; stir gently, taking care not to bruise the alcohol and garnish with an orange twist.
