These super easy golden gems are the perfect finishing touch to a number of dishes such as salads, soups, and plated items like risotto; but they’re also fantastic all by themselves with wine or an ice cold beer. If you have a block of parmesan cheese, a grater, and about ten minutes - then you can also have THE ESSENTIAL PARMESAN CRISPS.
THE ESSENTIAL PARMESAN CRISPS

INGREDIENTS
8 ounces whole parmesan cheese
TECHNIQUE
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Using a small-hole grater, grate parmesan into a medium sized bowl.
Using an 1/4-cup measuring cup, portion grated cheese into mounds on the prepared sheet pant, several inches apart. Using the bottom of the measuring cup, flatten each mound to about ¼-inch thick.
Bake until golden brown, approximately 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden. Remove and cool slightly until crisp before serving.
